Recycle with Clarity Partner goes from strength to strength

6 June 2012

BluSkye Industries, specialists in the recycling of electrical waste, have reported a huge growth in business. A member of our Recycle with Clarity initiative, BluSkye Industries was founded by Richard Lewis and Jonathan Blake three years ago and in this short time the company has grown rapidly.

Richard Lewis, Director of BluSkye says: “Between April 2011 and 2012, our figures show a startling increase in the number of electrical items we’ve collected or dropped off for recycling from previous years. Some of this can be attributed to the digital switchover. But we’ve also worked hard to increase the number of electrical retailers we’re working with. This has helped us expand and grow the business.
“The figures are not just good news for our business, but also for the environment because it means WEEE is being diverted from landfill where it would be a huge burden on the environment.”

BluSkye is a member of Recycle with Clarity, our national initiative helping to reduce the amount of electrical waste going to landfill by offering recycling solutions for televisions, fridges, IT equipment and all other electrical equipment.

Recycle with Clarity works with the full spectrum of recycling sites – from the most sophisticated Approved Authorised Treatment Facilities (AATFs), to the ‘man with a van’ local clearance specialists. We are always looking for more site owners to join us so if you’re interested contact our Project Manager, Vikkie Fitzgerald on 01273 929212 or email vikkie.fitzgerald@clarity.eu.com.
